Dress Code For Youth Classes

*We strongly encourage our dance families to support our local business community. Ginger at Ama La Vita typically works with us to stock or order the items we will need for class. If you shop online and order from discountdance.com, use the Teacher Code 36988.

Hair

For all classes, hair must be pulled up, off the neck in braids or bun that is secured to one’s head. Short hair and bangs must be pinned off face and neck. Headbands are allowed if they are not distracting.

Undergarments

Undergarments should never be distracting. Please wear a dance belt under bottoms or a supportive bra under your leotard if needed. There are many leotards designed with built-in support.

Warm-ups/Cover-ups

Warm-ups and cover-ups must be worn in the halls and to and from class, unless you are going immediately from one class to another. No exceptions. Dance clothes are for dance class not the grocery store or Dairy Queen.
